Luther analogously presented the way thing were during the independence days and the way things would be in coming days. One great usage of pathos was Luther himself. He was an unbearable symbol of American the wrongs in America’s culture and the Americans themselves resulting to his idolization and coronation with a national holiday in Luther’s name.
